Hey guys. Boruto: Naruto Next Generations has reached 40 episodes and things are looking good for the anime. There has been a lot of speculation regarding Naruto’s death. Fans have been going crazy and so today I have made a list of characters who might become the Hokage in Boruto. Let’s begin.
7. Sakura Haruno-
Often criticized by the fans as useless and being trash, Sakura is actually the most powerful kunoichi in the series. Sakura is said to be immune to genjutsu. She possesses insane physical strength and only a few characters can match her in combat. She’ll definitely got the qualities for becoming a capable leader.
6. Sasuke Uchiha-
Sasuke is the second strongest shinobi in the world. He possesses two different Kekkei Genkai. The Mangekyou Sharingan and the Rinnegan. Both of these Kekkei Genkai make Sasuke very powerful. In fact, it is said that Sasuke is the only person who can match Naruto in a fight. He is also known as the “Other Hokage.”
5. Konohamaru Sarutobi-
He is the grandson of one of the most renowned shinobi in the history. Konohamaru has come through a lot of training in order to reach his current level. Konohamaru would definitely become a very good Hokage. Plus, he dreams of surpassing his grandfather and what better way to do it than by becoming one of the most elite shinobi.
4. Sarada Uchiha-
Arguably the most loved character in the series, Sarada has made it perfectly clear that she wants to become like Lord Seventh i.e, become a great Hokage who looks after their village. She possesses the Sharingan as she’s an Uchiha.
3. Boruto Uzumaki-
Boruto is the son of Naruto and Hinata. He possesses a brand new Kekkei Genkai known as Jougan. We have very limited knowledge about this Kekkei Genkai. Although Boruto has made it clear that he doesn’t want to become the Hokage. I can see this attitude changing in the near future.
2. Shikamaru Nara-
Shikamaru is the head of the Nara Clan. He is the advisor of Naruto Uzumaki. There’s no doubt that he is one of the smartest characters in the series. He has the ability to rule over the village quite efficiently.
1. Moegi Kazamatsuri-
So the final candidate on the list is Moegi. She is currently a Jōnin like Konohamaru. Now many of you might not know this but she possesses the Wood Release, which was possessed by the legendary Hashirama Senju. With this powerful Kekkei Genkai, she can easily match the other shinobi.

Latest Boruto Episode Drops Massive Hint About [SPOILER]
Hey guys. Boruto: Naruto Generations has crossed the 40 episode mark and this week the 41st episode of the series was released. The anime came back from a break like the other big anime around. The anime marked its 41st episode with a new ending. An ending which has caused a huge stir among the fans. Normally, we wouldn’t even be talking about it. However, this time the ending had a big surprise for us. If you haven’t watched the ending yet, better watch it right now. If you observe carefully, then you can see that the Hidden Leaf has been destroyed. That’s pretty nostalgic. Remember when Boruto began back in April? In the very first episode of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, we saw both Boruto and Kawaki battling on top of the Hokage Rock. The Hidden Leaf was in absolute tatters.
Fans of Naruto will be familiar with the Hidden Leaf getting destroyed every now and then. Going back to the Boruto ending, Boruto is shown with a saddened look. In the background, Hidden Leaf seems to have fallen prey to a huge explosion. I feel bad for the Hidden Leaf, it seems that the village will never be left in one piece. The next Arc of the series will be the Momoshiki arc, and we know that this time, there are going to be several changes from the movie. It was confirmed last year that Boruto: Naruto Next Generations will have extra details from the movie.
But as you know in the manga, the Hidden Leaf isn’t destroyed by the fight of Kinshiki and Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki vs the Five Kage and Sasuke. This could be a hint regarding the several changes that I talked about. Or it might be a teaser for the distant future.
