Dragon Ball Super Episode 131 will not only mark the end of The Tournament of Power and Universal Survival Arc, but even probably the end of Dragon Ball Super. Even if not The End of the series as a whole, it will at least be a very long break.
It probably won’t resume in 2018, and potentially might not continue at all after this.

So, guys, all the Dragon Ball Brothers, Fans, Women out there, we only have 6 episodes to go.
Let’s not sleep at this moment, let’s not allow depression to take over.

It’s not just a mere anime for us, it’s an emotion that can’t be expressed in words.
It’s a motivation, an inspiration that relates to each of us in our own special ways.
So what I’m, saying is, let’s enjoy it a 100% till it lasts. Let’s celebrate each of one of these remaining 6 episodes, let’s get more hyped than ever before, let’s talk about Dragon Ball all day. Gather with your friends to watch these episodes together, in what’s going to be, last 2 months of DBS.
This brings us To Dragon Ball Super Episode 125, we will breakdown the preview trailer, frame by frame, but first let’s check out the episode title and preview summary of this episode 126 and 127 to get a better context for making predictions!
Dragon Ball Super Episode 126- Surpassing even the Gods! Vegeta’s Life Threatening Move!
Provitional title for DBS episode 127
“The Final Barrier of Hope” and that’s as posted by KenXyro
So, all the information given let’s start breaking down the preview clip.
The overall plot of the episode is, Android 17 and Frieza will take on Toppo. On the other hand, we will keep getting some glimpse of Goku and Vegeta fighting Jiren. However, that segment will not be the center of attention in the next episode, although they might kick off the episode with it, but most likely from the middle to the end of the episode we will see the other fight where Toppo will finally be put to a real test, which will force him to show off his real power, and it surely looks promising, and really really intense.
Now, that it’s down to only 4 fighters from Universe 7, all of the survivors has no other option but to go full offense.
Even fighters like Frieza who has been very selective up till now, will have to get involved.
Following this, we see Android 17 getting aggressive as in this scene, he is shooting swift ki blasts targeting Toppo. Despite having high durability Toppo opted to dodge these shots, um, actually he was probably just getting in a position or angle which would allow him to counter 17. Because, right afterward, in this scene, Toppo puts his guard up and jumps right through 17’s attack. Although initially it might have looked like 17 was in control, actually he is the one panicking throwing as many blasts as he can trying to somehow slow down Toppo, who is a total monster by the way. Eventually, it looks like he fails to keep Toppo away, as he jumps right into the attack.
Now there’s this scene where Toppo is on the verge of the stage, initially it looks like he is getting pushed out of the stage, but there’s two ways to interpret it. It’s either Toppo getting attacked and pushed towards the edge of the stage or Toppo just standing there and launching an attack on 17.
Because if we go back a bit in the preview, there we have the scene where we see Toppo now taking shots on Android 17 as 17 is trying to dodge or rather just running away while protecting himself with the barrier.
And that’s why Frieza would be taking the opportunity to hit Toppo from behind, and it looks like Frieza wouldn’t be involved before this point. As you see he is laughing and all, it’s like at that point he wouldn’t even be considering Toppo a real threat. Frieza has been playing games for a long time, almost throughout the entire tournament; no one apart from Dyspo gave him a decent challenge, even that wasn’t all that serious.
But, finally here’s something that has Frieza worried.
Hell Yeah, Toppo’s power up, Godly level of power, in fact the title outright refers him as A God of Destruction. Do a Dab For Him Bros.
Brothers, he looks totally intense, I like how his clothes are ripped off, probably after getting blown by some attack after Android 17 and Frieza’s combined effort overwhelms him for the moment, but that’s what’s going trigger him to show his real power.
Dragon Ball Super Episode 125 Preview
I absolutely like how it’s looking from the preview, the rest depends on how they execute it. Have to say though, this Toppo face right here is a meme material, there goes your meme template.
The most interesting thing about this form is obviously that it has to do something with the destruction Gods. The Aura and simply that they mentioned it, Goku narrates in the preview ‘ He Sure Looks Like a God of Destruction, Things are really heating up!’ and the title very clearly states- ‘With imposing presence! God of Destruction Toppo Descends!’
Now, fans have been talking about what they actually mean by that, whether Toppo is an actual God of Destruction or it just means he has a level of power equivalent to a God of Destruction. I’ve seen crazy comments, like Belmod might die and then Toppo might officially become one, but that’s not going to happen. I don’t think Toppo is secretly a God of Destruction either.
However, it was mentioned that he is a candidate to become the next God of Destruction. Meaning he did train under Gods and Angels and perhaps he was really close to become one already. So he has hold of the God Aura, he is not officially a God of Destruction but almost has the power of one.
If you take a look at the Manga, Goku was able to use Hakai a signature move of Beerus and other Gods. Meaning you can get God Level Power or Even Higher without necessarily becoming one. Goku established that by using Hakai in the manga, and we might even see him do that in the anime too.
Anyways, so I’m sticking with Toppo just having a state of power in the level of a God of Destruction, and not going with theories like he’s an actual official verified by Facebook God.
I also see it making sense from Universe 11’s point of view, because Jiren is said to be a mortal stronger than Gods and obviously he is the no.1 from his Universe. Toppo is the number 2 guy from Universe 11, and he is in the level of Gods. So that falls perfectly in line.
If you are thinking how other fighter can top him, one fighter was already shown to be able to deal with Godly level energy. Yeap, I am talking about the Emperor of Evil, he was able to deal with Hakai Ball of Sidra. That might have been a hint, if he ends up being the one who takes down Toppo, we would be able to look back at that episode, and see the foreshadowing and how they connect the dots.
As far as who will eliminate Toppo, I think it comes down to Frieza and Vegeta.
Android 17 will likely get eliminated next, it could even be in the next episode, but 127 episode title hints something 17ish. So he might just survive till then, play a crucical role in holding back Toppo, even damaging Toppo, but at the end he will fall, that’s my prediction, but hey anything can happen. They are totally overhyping Number 17, he came back out to nowhere and he is already lasting longer than Gohan.
However, between Vegeta and Frieza, I’m siding more towards Vegeta on this one. I don’t know why I just feel like they will have an epic clash. Previously Vegeta wasn’t really interested to fight Toppo, but now that Toppo got a power-up Vegeta might find it worthwhile. Also Vegeta is more like a God of Destruction candidate from Universe 7 than Goku, like Whis initially offered him exactly that.
So a battle between them will be amazing to watch, I think Vegeta will lose a significant amount of energy in the process of dealing with Toppo leaving Jiren for Goku. Frieza could also be the one like I mentioned before.
The other less talked about segment here is the Goku and Vegeta vs Jiren fight, because it’s not going to be the main thing of the episode. But, it’s fascinating how both Goku and Vegeta has surrendered to Jiren’s power in a way that they accepted they can’t deal with him alone but has to team up. Because, otherwise they kind of believe in one on one fair fights, you know they have that type of fight ethics or style maybe. Now they are not doing that fighting game, but are fighting for survival. Giving us the change of tone, as the tournament approaches its end.
Whatever happens, things are looking really good! The Hype Is Real!
Well, that’s about all for now.
