Be On The Look Out For This NEW Pokemon Coming Soon! – OtakuKart

Everyone loves it when a new Pokemon is introduced into the game. It just so happens we might be getting another new one on the 24th that will stick around longer than Delibird! No, it’s not Smeargle, he probably won’t be seen until around Easter.

The new Pokemon is only speculated but at good circumstances. Niantic has snuck in several shiny Pokemon during events. Most of the Pokemon that had shiny forms released were related to the event in some way. Recent shiny Pokemon, however, don’t seem to have a reason for being released just yet.

So what event is coming up, that has a possibility of there being a shiny Pokemon? The new community day event as a matter of fact. This event will have 3 hours of increased Dratini spawns. Though, what doesn’t make sense is? Out of all the Pokemon Niantic can choose from, it’s Dratini?

There are several Pokemon Niantic could have gone with over Dratini, however, Niantic chooses a pretty good Pokemon. It also doesn’t make a whole lot of sense for Niantic to be focusing on the strongest Pokemon giving it a legacy move.

Keep in mind, the legacy move is only learnable by Dratini’s caught during the event. Anytime it evolves it will lose that move and be replaced with one that’s still in the game. Of course, Niantic knows most trainers will evolve and power up Dragonite’s during the event.

That means something else must be part of the event as well. A shiny Dratini family would make perfect sense. It’s a Pokemon that would truly give the game a ton of traffic. More so than a legacy move Dratini. What are your thoughts? Do you think it’s almost time for us to catch shiny Dratini’s?

Another thing to keep in mind. Dratini is a dragon type Pokemon, still one of the easiest to obtain. Which is saying a lot considering a lot of trainers still don’t have a decent Dragonite! One thing we know for sure is Niantic is using this event to increase trainers progress towards the Dragon badge.

Pokemon Go was released a year and a half ago! At this point in the games life cycle, you would think one of the most important parts of the game would be working properly and have all the tweaks in needs finalized. Though, that isn’t the case. However, it does appear Niantic is changing them daily, or even weekly.

The Pokestops are Pokemon Go’s major features that are used in order to collect items which allows you to “progress” further into the game. When the game was first released. Trainers quickly realized the importance of these stops and request for more if their towns didn’t have plenty.

The loot table for these photospins did have a lot of items until generation 2 came out. Once that happened we saw new barries along with 5 evolution items used to evolve certain Pokemon in the game. Pokestops have been seen to favor items. Sometimes it would last for a day, sometimes it would last longer.

For all we know, Niantic is testing something pretty fun and interesting. Anyone who has played Trove or other games that hold these daily bonuses would know. In Trove, there are set days for certain bonuses. For example every Tuesday, there is a bonus for gathering materials.

This is a feature Niantic could add for Pokestops. Each day could be an increased bonus for certain items which we will go over shortly. Some may not like this, however, knowing that you have a good chance of collecting items you need would be motivating to get out and hit the stops. Continue Reading…
