Hey guys. Gol D. Roger is the Pirate King, who once ruled over the entire Grand Line. When he was alive, there was hardly any person who was capable of matching Gol D. Roger. He was the Strongest Man when he was alive. We don’t know whether or not Roger possessed a devil fruit. However, this is a story for another time. In today’s list, I will be naming the characters who stand a chance against the Pirate King.
5. Whitebeard-
Edward Newgate better known as Whitebeard was one of the four Yonkō who ruled over the Grand Line. Whitebeard possessed the Gura Gura no Mi, which allowed him to create quakes. Roger and Whitebeard clashed several times during the old days. However, both of them had high respect for each other.
4. Big Mom-
Big Mom is one of the four Yonkō, who rule over the New World. She possesses the powerful Soru Soru no Mi, which allows her to take away the souls of her opponents. She has all three types of Haki. Big Mom’s bounty as a kid was 500,000,000 beris. Roger sneaked into Big Mom’s territory before he became the Pirate King. This tells a lot about Big Mom’s power.
3. Monkey D. Garp-
Garp is also known as the “Hero of Marines”. He was considered the equal of the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger. Also, Garp was the only Marine who had cornered Roger. Garp has insane armament haki. He cracked an ice continent with just one punch. Furthermore, Garp was able to defeat the legendary pirate, Don Chinjao, with just one punch.
2. Monkey D. Dragon-
Monkey D. Dragon is the leader of the Revolutionary Army. He is considered the biggest threat to the mighty World Government. Not many characters could really match the strength Dragon. If we judge him by his threat level then it is no grainer that Dragon will at least be Yonkō level and I think it is more than enough to match Roger.
1. Shiki-
Shiki is a pirate from the Great Pirate Era. He was the rival of the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger. Shiki is wielder of Fuwa Fuwa no Mi. With the power of the Fuwa Fuwa no Mi, Shiki can make any non-living thing float as well make himself float. He was able to destroy half of Marineford and he even wounded vice-admiral Garp badly in their fight.

Hey guys. One Piece is the biggest mysteries in the series itself. Even after 800+ chapters, we don’t have a clue what the One Piece really is. Throughout all these years, the fans have been trying to guess what One Piece could really be. So, today I have made a list of the 5 things that One Piece could possibly be. This post has spoilers so read ahead at your own risk.
5. Roger’s Will-
The Great Pirate Era was started by the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger. When he was being executed at Logue Town, Roger revealed that all his treasures including the One Piece were located on the last island, which is Raftel. It may be possible that One Piece is not some treasure but instead it is a piece of paper left by Roger, in which he has stated that whosoever finds the “One Piece’ should sacrifice their life for the sake of starting the next Pirate Era.
4. Normal Treasure-
One Piece some normal treasure?!? Well this is a show about pirates, isn’t it? There isn’t anything in the world which makes pirates happier than rum and money. I would say that One Piece is a big rum bottle, but it would be disappointing. However, a treasure is a different thing. Money can buy you anything you want so why can’t One Piece just be jewels and beris.
3. The History-
There is hardly anything in the world that is more exciting than history. Of course, I’m talking about the Void Century. Hundred years of history which have almost been erased entirely. The only source of knowledge are the Poneglyphs and reading them is a crime punishable by death. So, One Piece could be the final piece which has the information about all the events of the Void Century.
