New Hoenn Pokemon Being Released Today!
For the Halloween event, Niantic thought, they would try something new for releasing new generations of Pokemon to the game. Niantic stated they weren’t too fond of just releasing an entire generation overnight. This was mostly because everyone was able to get just about every new Pokemon within the week they were released.
Releasing generations of Pokemon periodically would allow for trainers to continue searching for Pokemon and even keep the game alive a little longer. Niantic doesn’t mention they will be releasing the rest of generation 3 Pokemon so don’t get your hopes up to high just yet.

Starting later today, 23 additional Pokémon originally discovered in the Hoenn region in the Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire video games will begin appearing in Pokémon GO for the very first time. As you’re out adventuring with friends and family and exploring your local neighborhoods, be sure to share your favorite moments and photos using #PokemonGO on your social media channels.
No times were given so when should we except these new Pokemon? More then likely we will see these new creatures spawning in roughly 4 hours. Mostly because that’s the same time just about every event Niantic holds starts.
The biggest reason they didn’t put a time was to keep trainers checking their game. Maybe even catch a few Pokemon in the process. Not giving a time might not be too bad of an idea on Niantic’s part if they want to get trainers to figure out when the new Pokemon are here for themselves.
