Quests play a huge role inside of just about every game nowadays. This system allows for players to have something to do and keep them attached to the game for a lengthy period of time. Most of it is from collecting juicy rewards that help the player alongside their gaming experience.
Several trainers had reached out, begging for Niantic to introduce a system as such. While the rewards aren’t anything noteworthy. Niantic did as such and gave us daily quests. One for spinning your first photo-disk each day. Another for catching your first Pokemon.
These daily’s would stack up to a total of 7 days if consecutive giving a larger reward each day the streak is continued. The best reward not many people try for any more would be the evolution items for spinning on your seventh-day streak.
With the recent update coming to Pokemon GO. It was found in the code more of these daily’s would be introduced into the game. However, a new sort of quest system appears to be in the works as well. This would be the Storyline Quests.
- STORY_QUEST
- CHALLENGE_QUEST
What the storyline might be, it’s not certain yet. There are a few games that don’t really have much of a story behind it but give quests for players to stay active. Though, most storyline quests follow a short story. It would be interesting it this type of questing is meant for the dailies.

It could give trainers a large reward for completing every challenge quest that day. Though, based on how Niantic likes to give items away. It seems very unlikely this would be the case. More than likely, this quest system will be for new trainers, or mostly anyway.
Storyline quests usually help the players level progression and make it seem like there is more to levels than, well, levels. As many trainers feel this way. There really isn’t a whole lot to levels at the moment. They are actually pretty useless other than for leveling your Pokemon up more.

Pokemon Go was released a year and a half ago! At this point in the games life cycle, you would think one of the most important parts of the game would be working properly and have all the tweaks in needs finalized. Though, that isn’t the case. However, it does appear Niantic is changing them daily, or even weekly.
The Pokestops are Pokemon Go’s major features that are used in order to collect items which allows you to “progress” further into the game. When the game was first released. Trainers quickly realized the importance of these stops and request for more if their towns didn’t have plenty.
Pokémon GO: Does Putting Lures On Dead Pokestops Bring Them To Life?
The loot table for these photospins did have a lot of items until generation 2 came out. Once that happened we saw new barries along with 5 evolution items used to evolve certain Pokemon in the game. Pokestops have been seen to favor items. Sometimes it would last for a day, sometimes it would last longer.
For all we know, Niantic is testing something pretty fun and interesting. Anyone who has played Trove or other games that hold these daily bonuses would know. In Trove, there are set days for certain bonuses. For example every Tuesday, there is a bonus for gathering materials.
This is a feature Niantic could add for Pokestops. Each day could be an increased bonus for certain items which we will go over shortly. Some may not like this, however, knowing that you have a good chance of collecting items you need would be motivating to get out and hit the stops. Continue Reading…
