The Biggest Proof That Luffy Has Awakened Advanced Haki In One Piece – OtakuKart

Hey everyone! Today, I’m going to be talking about Haki, and Luffy’s mastery in this field of One Piece. Haki is a power that exists within everyone from the One Piece Universe. It is kind of like Ki from Dragon Ball, or Chakra from Naruto, but different in the sense that it d actually the will power of a person. While everyone has access to Haki, not everyone is able to utilize it.

Haki is only used by the strong people in the world of One Piece, but after the Timeskip, even weak people, like fodder Marines have shown the ability to use Haki. Haki is basically classified into two types. Kenbunshoku Haki, and Busoshoku Haki. Kenbunshoku Haki allows a user to predict a move in the mind’s eye, before the movement had actually been made. It also allows one to gauge the power level of someone, or sense what’s in the surroundings.

This is what I want to talk about. Kenbunshoku Haki is probably the most basic, yet a lethal weapon in battle. It requires 100% concentration to keep active, but if done correctly, a user becomes extremely hard to hit. However, there are certain people who have taken the skill of Kenbunshoku Haki to its absolute limits, like Charlotte Katakuri.

Katakuri is trying second son of Big Mom, and the stronger Sweet Commander in the Big Mom Pirates. He has the ability to look into the future with his Observation Haki, which makes him really special. Nobody else has shown this feat in One Piece, and he certainly deserves recognition for it. In the recent One Piece chapter, Luffy said that Haki is a power that blooms when one is fighting stronger opponents. So, in a fight against strong people, your Haki will definitely grow, both in capacity, and in power.

He also said the he’d like to be able to see into the future, just like Charlotte Katakuri. But is that possible? While I don’t think it should be with the level Luffy is currently at, I think Luffy has shown something similar at Marineford. During his fight vs Mihawk, Luffy tried to get with Gomu Gomu no Jet Bazooka. However, he had this brief premonition that his hands would get chopped off, and he stopped the attack midway.

Had he continued his assault, he certainly would’ve lost both his arms, and to me, this certainly does look like the same ability Katakuri has. The only difference is Luffy managed to activate it by chance. He doesn’t have such mastery over Observation Haki yet. But, with the recent chapters, I think it’s pretty clear that Luffy is going to get this ability, if not now then surely in the future of One Piece.
