New Update Suggests Generation 3 Soon? – OtakuKart

Recently, behind all of the news, Niantic has been pushing out the last few days. There was a new update that took place in the last 24 hours. While this hidden update is still being looked into. We know that force updates are always being forced because of new content being added to the game.

While this update wasn’t actually forced. Many trainers had awoken to their games already being updated. This sneaky move has resulted in a lot of trainers being update with the new Pokemon GO plus bugs the update has brought.

Speculation suggests that generation 3 Pokemon have been causing the invisible Pokemon spawning in the game. Much like what happened moments before generation 2 was officially released. It is safe to say that these vibrations being caused by nothing. Actually means they are generation 3 Pokemon. Their sprites just haven’t been released into the live version of the game yet.

What could this update have been forced for? Well, recently, Niantic had mentioned the releasing of Ho-oh. After doing some searching, it is clear to see that the update happened before Ho-oh’s mentioning. That could very well mean that the update was only meant to introduce ho-oh’s coding into the game.

However, when generation 2 was released. Niantic didn’t mention anything. The Pokemon was just released into the wild a few days after a forced update. While trainers may have mixed feelings about these force updates. They are actually quite meaningful.

Generation 2 was released a few days after a forced update, so it is still possible that Niantic will release generation 3 on December 1st. Only time will tell for rather this update was for Ho-oh or if it could have been for generation 3. Either way, Niantic hopes to get the rest of generation 3 out sometime around December.

This means just about any date mentioned by Niantic will be theorized to be the releasing of generation 3. However, there are a few dates that would make more sense that they others. For example, the 1st would make sense because Niantic is running out of legendary Pokemon to release.

If generation 3 was to be released on the first, not only would it give them time to release a new legendary Pokemon, but it would also make the Christmas event a little easier. Not to mention all the trainers who will already be out searching for generation 3 Pokemon.

It would give trainers enough time to enjoy generation 3 before an event and should bring more trainers back as the initial releasing of generation 3 dies down. There will be several server issues that would break the event if the generation was released part of or just a few days before the event starts.

What do you think? Could this update have been for generation 3? Some of the new patch notes suggest something new is coming. Rather it is a feature or generation. New content is getting closer to being released.

Pokemon GO’s Rogue Update Has Millions Furious

Sometime within the last 12 hours, Niantic had pushed an update. It’s a little odd that nothing was mentioned about this update. It seems to be a fairly unknown update at this time. Niantic didn’t tweet about it and there is hardly anything on Reddit about the latest reworks for the game.

We know that Niantic has decided to make the game unplayable for those who are playing on iOS 8 or earlier. Which is what the main aspect of this update was for. Unfortunately, with everything else that is going on. It may be hard for us to get all the latest bugs and information from the update.

Recently, Niantic had released the newest legendary Pokemon Ho-oh to the game. Which several trainers were waiting for the arrival of this nostalgic Pokemon. Not only is Ho-oh famous for being seen in the very first episode of Pokemon. However, it is also well known for being a generation 2 Pokemon you have to climb a tower to get.

This rouge update was sort of a forced update. The reason it sort of was, is because the game automatically updated for several trainers. Most of the time you have to manually update the game, even when it’s a force update. This could mean something big is around the corner and Niantic doesn’t want us to find out.

With the update here is the “minor text fixes” we got.

  • Added support and made optimizations for the iPhone X screen resolution.

  • Removed support screen for devices running iOS8

  • Resolved bug causing error banners to remain visible until the app is restarted

  • Resolved a bug that prevented trainers from powering up Pokemon to their max CP

  • Improved load times when you open the app

  • Various bug fixes and performance updates

This update focused mostly on iOS users and bug fixes that are still being worked out. Thankfully, Niantic is trying to work on fixes their bugs. Though, it does appear the coding they are using isn’t handling these fixes all too well, creating more bugs.

One of the newest and most frustrating bugs so far is iOS users are experiencing complete go plus failures. At first, the go plus was a little buggy but still worked enough to be used. However, that isn’t the case anymore. The Pokemon Go plus isn’t even able to connect to some iPhones. Luckily if you are using an Andriod you should be fine.

Whatever Niantic changed for iOS users must have messed with the Pokemon GO Plus. If you have a Gotcha, thankfully, Niantic didn’t disable the use of that. At first, it was thought to be a hidden fix for people using the 3rd party watch that catches Pokemon and spins automatically. More research, though, suggests it’s for the connection between both devices to your phone.

What could this hidden update possibly mean? Well, while fans aren’t too happy with speculation. An update like this could mean generation 3 will be coming to the game very soon. We know that Ho-oh was recently added to the game which could be the reasoning for this update.

Ho oh pokemon go

However, because this update has gone unnoticed for so long. It suggests something else is being hidden that Niantic doesn’t want us to see just yet. December is getting closer and it was mentioned that the hopes for generation 3 Pokemon will be around December. The update was pushed yesterday at some point which is a very odd date for updates to Pokemon GO.

The event bonuses were also extended until the 1st which is also a strange time to end an event. Hopefully, generation 3 will come out on December 1st. Niantic is running out of legendary Pokemon to release. Surely, the new Pokemon will roam before Celebi and Mew are released.
