Pokemon Go New Evolution Items – OtakuKart

Pokemon Go recently brought many new and amazing features.Pokemon Go’s biggest update took place newly which got players really excited, Generation3 Pokemon along with Real-Time weather was introduced in Pokemon Go.Real-Time weather seems to have a great impact on how and which Pokemon spawn takes place.Pokemon seems to have a great boost depending on Weather System.Pokemon Go’s support page confirmed that both the Deepsea Scale and Deepsea Tooth would be added in the coming weeks as a new evolutionary item. Both items are used to evolve the “Gen 3” Pokemon Clamperl into a Gorebyss or a Huntail.

Evolutionary items are special items that can be obtained from PokeStops and gyms and are used to evolve certain Pokemon in conjunction with Candies. Evolutionary items were added to Pokemon Go as part of the “Gen 2” expansion earlier this year. The Deepsea Scale and Deepsea Tooth increase the number of evolutionary items in Pokemon Go up to seven.

While there are multiple Pokemon that have divergent evolutionary paths, Clamperl is the first in Pokemon Go that requires separate evolutionary items to evolve into one form or the other. While neither Gorebyss or Huntail are expected to be top-tier Pokemon in Pokemon Go, both have decent Attack and Defense stats, which could make them reliable gym defenders or secondary attackers. Gorebyss is considered the stronger of the two Pokemon, with a max CP of 2281.

Interestingly, neither evolutionary item are in the GAME_MASTER file, which means that Pokemon Go will need to push an update before they can be added to game. That means that we might be waiting a little while longer for the second wave of “Gen 3” Pokemon to appear.

There are more updates to look forward to on the way, teased Niantic’s official spokesperson. BEST ATTACKER

Gyarados

• Fast Move-Bite, Waterfall

• Charge Move-Crunch, Hydro pump, Outrage

Ever since its debut, Gyarados has lived in Vaporeon’s shadow. Despite having the most powerful Hydro Pump in the game, its role as a Water-type Pokemon has been restricted by its lack of a Water-type fast move. With the addition of Waterfall, Gyarados is held back no longer, usurping Vaporeon as the greatest Water-type attacker currently available in Pokemon GO!

Despite Gyarados’s advantage in raw power, Vaporeon hasn’t been knocked out of relevancy. By virtue of its high HP, Vaporeon will often last longer in fights, allowing it to put in more damage before fainting. Additionally, Vaporeon has access to the powerful, multi-bar charge move Aqua Tail, allowing it to clean up weakened gyms more rapidly. While Gyarados is the Water-type King, Queen Vaporeon is here to stay.

It’s also worth noting that even with Waterfall’s apparent advantage with STAB, it is inadvisable to TM all of your Gyarados. Bite is still the preferred fast move when fighting Psychic and Ghost-type Pokemon, and Dragon Breath/Tail are necessary for Gyarados to combat Dragon-types, both on offense and defense. Overall, Gyarados is turning out to be quite the headache of a Pokemon, having a variety of viable movesets across the board; and that’s before the weather is involved.

Machamp

• Fast Move-Bullet Punch, Counter


• Charge Move-Heavy Slam, Close Combat, Dynamic Punch

Safest Bets for Gen 3 article, Machamp was considered a risky investment. Facing competition with 3 new Fighting-type Pokemon, all with various stat and type advantages over Machamp, it’s surprising that he came out ahead. To solidify Machamp’s dominion even further, all 3 got their most optimal Fighting-type movesets! It truly is a testament to Machamp’s raw power that despite all odds, he still managed to come out on top.

While Machamp remains the undisputed Fighting-type champion, Hariyama does weigh in on some of Machamp’s matchups with its higher bulk. Similar to Gyarados vs. Vaporeon, while Machamp will get jobs done faster than Hariyama, there may be times that Hariyama will survive more hits than Machamp would….
