Mitsuki Gaiden To Be Animated In One Episode – OtakuKart

The time has finally come for Boruto Naruto Next Generations to animate the last of Masashi Kishimoto’s original content from manga source material. That material is the Mitsuki side story one-shot. The purpose of this one shot was to establish Mitsuki as a character by allowing the fans to see his backstory, where he came form, who he belonged to, and what made him special. So with that said, today I will be discussing Mitsuki Gaiden (The path Lit By The Full Moon) to be animated in One Episode.

So to begin with, the one – shot was close to about 50 pages long. If we can compare the chapters of Naruto Gaiden and the Scarlet Spring Month along with Studio Pierrot’s adaptation of the source material we have already known that the manga series was 10 chapter long. In the anime, it was animated into five episodes.

However for Mitsuki Gaiden (The Path Lit By The Full Moon), we can confirm that the entire one shot will be animated into one episode because of the episode preview after episode 38 of Boruto Naruto Next Generations. In the preview for episode 39, we clearly saw the beginning where Orochimaru gives Mitsuki the medicine. Towards the end of the preview we see that the last shot is of Mitsuki holding a piece of paper or a frame. if you remember the one shot manga that Kishimoto drew, then you will know that the last shot of the manga was Mitsuki holding that information and it had Boruto’s face on it.
